Access Request, Department Based
Torii's application catalog allows employees to request access to your organization's key sanctioned apps. Once a request is submitted, your access request workflow will be triggered.
Organizations may create several access request policies to limit access to costly and/or sensitive applications based on employees' roles and/or departments. For example, Salesforce licenses are cost-intensive and provide access to sensitive data. While Salesforce is a necessity for Sales executives within most organizations, customer success may not need access to excel in their role. In this workflow, whenever sales and marketing employees request access to Salesforce, they will automatically be granted a license, whereas customer success and other employees who do not fit within the three aforementioned departments will need approval from IT before being assigned a license.
IT will receive a Salesforce request form via Slack and/or email detailing which employee from the customer success team requested access. From there, IT can simply select "Approve" or "Deny" or provide additional context for their decision, either triggering the rest of the workflow to create a salesforce license or simply messaging the customer success employee informing them that their request was denied.

“Torii’s App Catalog gives everyone a clear, streamlined and fast way to request app access. Torii’s tagging feature is also super helpful as it suggests similar apps if someone searches for an app that isn’t in the catalog. This way they can evaluate existing apps before deciding whether to purchase a new one.” – Dimitri Isaev, Service Deck Technician, Omnipresent
