Viral score
A 0 to 10 score for how fast an app is spreading across workplaces.
How it's calculated
The score averages three factors, each scaled from 0 to 1: how many organizations use the app, how quickly its users double inside an organization, and its Shadow IT index. Viral score = 1 + 9 × the average of the three.
How to read it
A high score means an app is both widely picked up and growing fast, often outside sanctioned channels.
